Darrell Ray Burt

Darrell Ray Burt, 51, died Friday, June 24th, 2016 in Houston, TX. He was a lifelong resident of the Golden Triangle area and a longtime resident of Kountze, TX. Darrell was a 1986 graduate of Lamar University earning his Associate Degree. He loved to hunt, fish, doing woodworking and singing karaoke and loved to joke with people and making them laugh. Visitatioin will be Monday, June 24, 2016 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor. Darrell is survived by his wife, Cristal Burt of 31 years, son, Scott Burt of Beaumont, daughter, Ashlynn Burt of Kountze, grandson, Karsen Burt, brother, Randall Burt and wife Marian of Groves, TX and sister, Rhonda Pruitt and husband Robert of Mauriceville, TX. He is also survived by his parents, Ben and Carole Burt of Kountze, TX. along with 3 nieces and a nephew.
