Delores Jewel Evans

Delores Jewel Dowers-Evans, 81, of Orange, TX died Friday, August 18th, 2017 at Beaumont Health Care Center. A native of West Lake, LA she was a longtime resident of Orange. Delores was a member of Mauriceville Assembly of God and loved her church. She also loved her puppies, being outdoors and gardening but especially her grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, August 20, 2017 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Monday, August 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Delores is survived by 2 daughters; Rebecca Garner and her husband James and Rhonda Statum and her husband Will, 2 sons, Ricky Evans and his wife Sheila and Timothy Evans and his wife Betty, all of Orange. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Delores was preceded in death by 1 son; Walter "Mickey" Evans, Jr and his wife Sharla.
