Dewey Elton Smith

Dewey E. Smith, 53 of Vidor died Friday, May 1, 2020 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, Texas. A native of Kirbyville, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Dewey was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor. He was owner/operator of Smith's Dump Trucks and D and L Foundations. Dewey enjoyed fishing and hunting. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor. Dewey is survived by his wife of 25 years Lisa Smith of Vidor, TX, son Cody Elton Smith and Brent Aaron Smith both of Vidor, TX, sisters Terry Echartea of Orange, TX, Madelyn Martin of Kirbyville, TX and Amanda Owens of Cove, TX.
