Donald Eugene Smith

Donald E. Smith, 59, of Vidor died Monday, October 10, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Independence, MO., he has lived in Vidor for 21 years, and was a card dealer with Isle of Capri Casino in Lake Charles, LA for 6 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 13, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Sharon Smith of Vidor, sons, Danny Smith and his wife Toresin of Vidor, and David Smith and his wife Melissa of Vidor, and three grandchildren.
