Donald Wayne Barron

Donald Wayne Barron, 82, of Vidor, passed away on Friday, February 9th, 2024, at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. Donald was a beloved member of the Vidor community, where he lived for many years.

A true lover of life, Donald found joy in the simple pleasures. He was an avid fisherman, finding solace and tranquility by the water's edge. Donald also enjoyed frequenting flea markets, where he had a booth at the Vidor Flea Market, indulging his passion for treasure hunting and bargain-hunting. He had a love for gambling, finding excitement in the thrill of chance.

However, Donald's greatest joy came from spending time with his friends and family. He cherished moments of conversation and laughter, creating cherished memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.

Visitation to honor Donald's life will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor at 10:00 AM, with interment to follow at Del Rose Cemetery.

Donald is survived by his children: Glenn Barron and wife Nancy of Vidor, TX; Eugene Barron and wife Liz of Buna, TX; Larry Barron of Vidor, TX; and Michelle Barron of Vidor, TX. He also leaves behind 3 grandchildren: Jeffrey Haymon, Jonathan Knoblock and wife Brittany, Nicholas Barron and wife Kamryn, and 3 great-grandchildren: Blayke, Bodhi, and Baker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Retta Barron, and 3 sisters.

Donald Wayne Barron's memory will be cherished by all who knew him. May he rest in peace, and may his family find comfort in the love and memories they shared with him.
