Dorothy Helen Pool

Dorothy H. Pool, 83, of Vidor died Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Sabine Oaks Nursing Home in Beaumont, TX. A native of Houston, she has lived in Vidor since 1955, and was a homemaker. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at First Baptist Church of Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 20, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. Dorothy was preceded in death by her son Jim E. Pool. She is survived by her sons Doyle L. Pool and his wife Katherine, Paul A. Pool and his wife Dana, daughters Donna Furry and her husband Jay, and Janet Benoit and her husband Dale all of Vidor, sister Margie A. Theis and her husband Ed of Nederland, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and her daughter-in-law Mona Nobles of Crystal Beach, TX.
