Dorothy Irene Baker

Dorothy I. Baker, 79, of Vidor died Monday, March 12, 2012 at her residence in Vidor. A native of Fullerton, LA, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Dorothy was the food service manager for Vidor ISD for 20 years and Lufkin ISD for 12 years before retiring. She was a member of the Resurrection Life Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday March 16, 2012 at Resurrection Life Church, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Dorothy is survived by her sons Ronnie Baker and his wife Molly, David Baker, Daughter Janet Cascio and her husband Joe all of Vidor, TX, brothers, Leon Swain of Rose Pine, LA, Donald Swain of Pitkin, LA, sisters Ethel Sweat of DeRidder, LA, Wanda Maricle and Donna West both of Pitkin, LA, Carolyn Thompson of Kinder, TX, grandchildren Ryan and wife Shelly Brawley, Brooke and husband Mike Morrow, Colby and wife Tiffany Baker, Casey and wife Brandi Baker, great grandchildren Roan and Cole Brawley, Fallon and Gianna Morrow, Slade Baker, Alexis Worthey.
