Dorothy Laverne Hampshire

Dorothy Laverne Hampshire, 79, of Vidor died Sunday, June 15, 2014 in a devastating house fire. A native of Perry, FL., Dorothy was a Devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, One that will be sorely missed. A gathering for family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm, Friday, evening, June 27 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will take place at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 28 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Following will be a Celebration of Dorothy's life at 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 29 at Vidor's Veteran of Foreign Wars (VFW). Donations are appreciated. Dorothy is survived by her Husband, Raymond (Danny) Hampshire, Daughters Tammy Roan, Carmen Stephens, Paula Stephens and son Shane Stephens, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and one Brother Dennis Padgett. Dorothy was preceded in death by her son Robert Hines.
