Dorothy Lillian Woods

Dorothy L. Woods, 88, of Vidor died Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor, with the last four years at Hotel Beaumont. She was a retired medical secretary after 15 years of faithful service, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at First Baptist Church in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, TX. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. til 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. She is survived by her son, Linn Woods, daughters Nancy Pierce, and Cherry Jones all of Vidor, sister Ruth Denman of Cleburne, TX., six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
