Dotty Faye Mayea

Dotty F. Mayea, 78 of Buna died Sunday, August 9th, 2020 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and Buna. Dotty was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home. Dotty was preceded in death by her husband Clarence James Mayea, parents Jasper and Ola Dryden, son-in-law Rowdy Kelly, grandson Justen Kelly, 1 brother and 3 sisters. She is survived by her daughters Diana McDaniel and her husband Lynn of Willis, TX, Christine Knight and her husband Kenny of Beaumont, TX, Jenell Williams and her husband James of Buna, TX, and Sheri Kelly of Buna, TX, sister Estelle Whitmire of Buna, TX, brothers Jimmy Dryden of NY, Jack Dryden of Conroe, TX, Bill Dryden of Orange, TX, 11 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Breast Cancer Society.
