Dwight Wayne Trahan

Dwight “Wayne” Trahan, 58, of Vidor, TX, passed away May 31, 2006. He is survived by his wife Alta Burke Trahan of Vidor, TX, a daughter Brandy Trahan Arciva and her husband Robert of Nederland, A son Gilbert Trahan of Nederland, four step-sons Gary Hoffpauir of Hemphill, TX, Todd Hoffpauir and his wife Kristine, and Brain Hoffpauir of Vidor, TX, Randy Hoffpauir of Luling, TX, thirteen grandchildren Quinton Trahan, Kane Vara, Haven Arciva, Matt, Chasanie, Craig, Chad, Tasha, Chris, Brianna, Nick, Sasha, and Amy Hoffpauir, 1 great granddaughter Lexus Hoffpauir, one brother Buster Trahan of Port Acres, TX. Wayne was born in Thornwell, LA, to Relsia and Kilbert Trahan on April 25, 1948. He was retired from the City of Port Arthur with 23 years of service as an Equipment Supervisor in the city garage. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, Interment of cremains will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Bridge City. The family would like to thank everybody at Harbor Hospice. I am home in heaven, dear ones; Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, Every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace for ever, safely home in heaven at last. There is work still waiting for you. So you must not idly stand; Do it now, while life remaineth - You shall rest in Gods own land. When that work is all completed, He will gently call you home; Oh, the rapture of that meeting, Oh, the joy to see you come.
