Edgar Wesley Davis

Edgar W. Davis, 86, of Vidor died Monday, April 2, 2007 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, TX. A native of Deweyville, he has lived in Vidor since 1943, and was a salesman with Norwood Office Supply for 30+ years, and Lamb’s Office Supply for 2 years before retiring. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the YMBL for 20+ years. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at 4:00 p.m. at Davis Cemetery in Beulah Springs, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his parents Wesley and Gertrude Davis, brothers Benjamin Elmer “Buddy” Davis, JC Davis, Leroy Davis, and Marvin Davis, and sister Evelyn Hutchison. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Hilda Davis of Vidor, son Dennis Wayne Davis and his wife Kathy of Dove Canyon, CA., daughters Debra Winstead, Sandy Kiefer and her husband Paul of Lumberton, and Monica Fabre of Vidor, eight grandchildren: Kelli, Kristopher, Michael, Amy, Kristin, Cody, Lauren, and Derek, and four great grandchildren: Paige, Kaitlyn, Tony, and Ryan.
