Edith Rae Welch

Edith R. Welch, 67, of Vidor died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Beaumont, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Edith was a homemaker and a member of Maple Crest Baptist Church in Vidor. She was on one of the first planning commissions in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. Edith is survived by her husband Barry Welch and son Cliffton E. Welch both of Vidor, TX, 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
