Edward 'Ed' Leroy Knost

Ed Knost, 94, of Vidor died Monday, January 31, 2011 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. A native of Orange, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Ed was a retired Electrician with Local Union IBEW #479 and served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Ed was preceded in death by his two wifes Margaret Lillian Knost and Mary Young. He is survived by his sons Jim Knost and his wife Cynthia, Greg Knost and his wife Jo all of Vidor, TX, Robert Knost and his wife Sharyn of Lake Sam Rayburn area, daughetr Margaret Dornak of Vidor, TX, 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
