Elizabeth Jane 'Betty Jeffers' Halbert

Elizabeth J. “Betty” Halbert, 87, of Savannah, GA., died Monday, Janaury 30, 2012 at Hospice of Savannah in Savannah, GA. A native of Orange, she was a longtime resident of Vidor before moving to Savannah 2years ago. Betty was a homemaker, and a member of the Polio Survivors Club. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd M. Halbert, son Harold M. Halbert. She is survived by her daughters Patsy Burnett and husband Tommy of Silsbee, Nancy Rogers and husband David, Becky Hunter, and Phyllis Goats and husband Steve all of Evadale, and Mary Halbert of Savannah, GA., brother Frank Jeffers of Vidor, twelve grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.
