Elodie Mae Brown

Elodie M. Brown, 88, of Vidor died Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at her residence. A native of Boston, MA., she has lived in Vidor for a year and eight months, and was a retired self-employed beautician. Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Elodie was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Herbert Irving Brown, Sr., brother Roy Steeves, sisters Gladys Barchard, Juanita Forsythe, Evelyn Broughton Savino, and Amy Ross. She is survived by her son Herbert Irving Brown, Jr and wife Joyce of Middleton, NJ., daughters Carol Ann Osnato of Wilmington, NC., and Barbara Lynn Lange and husband Robert Sr of Vidor, eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
