Elray Conner

Elray Conner, 84, of Vidor died Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Jennings, LA., he has lived in Vidor for 25 years, and was a retired machinist after 25 years with Standard Alloy. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 26, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Memory Gardens in Nederland, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Mary Adelene Conner. He is survived by his sons Robert Conner of Vidor, and Ronald Conner of Buna, daughters Barbara Scherry of Mauriceville, Yvette Miller of Buna, Laura Mae Gunter of Corpus Christi, TX., and Gloria Jean Bean of Vidor, sisters Eva Mae Hanks of Lake Arthur, LA., and Edna Mae Conner of Port Arthur, TX., numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
