Ernest Gene Walles, Sr.

Ernest G. Walles, Sr., 76, of Vidor died Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at his residence. A native of Oila, TX., Ernest was a longtime resident of Vidor, and was a retired construction worker with Commercial Metals. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home. Ernest was preceded in death by his son Robert Wade Walles, brother Hilton Walles, and his sister Glenda Strong. Ernest is survived by his wife Sue Walles, sons John William Walles, and Ernest Gene Walles, Jr., daughters Lanita Kay Linder, and Ernestine Howard all of Vidor, fourteen grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
