Eugenia Barnhart, 83, of Vidor died Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor, TX. A native of Orange, she has lived in Vidor for 36 years, she was a homemaker, and was a faithful member of Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Vidor. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 3, 2006 at Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Henry A. Barnhart, Sr., a daughter Joan Colley, and her brother Floyd Young. She is survived by her sons, Preston Barnhart of Mauriceville, TX., Thomas Lynn Barnhart of Vidor, Steve Barnhart of Bertram, TX., and Henry A. Barnhart, Jr. of Vidor, daughters, Tina Bryant, Judy Bryant, and Sheila Tucker all of Vidor, sisters Patsy Tynes, and Evelyn Blankenship both of Vidor, twenty-eight grandchildren, and forty-seven great grandchildren.
