Evelyn Marie Glorioso

Evelyn M. Glorioso, 92, of Vidor died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Humble, TX., Evelyn was a longtime resident of Vidor, and a retired waitress with Golden Corral. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Bean Cemetery in Kirbyville, Texas. Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents Marcus E. and Nathanna Bates, Sr, brothers Marcus E. Bates, Jr., William Bates, and A.L. Bates, and her sister Faye Woody. Evelyn is survived by her son Dennis Davis and wife Kathryn of Vidor, daughters Sandra Davis Kiefer and husband Paul of Lumberton, and Debra Davis Winstead of Beaumont, sister Bobbie Jean Davis of Jasper, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. The family would like to say thank you to Oakwood Manor Nursing Home and the Odyssey Hospice Staff.
