Fannie Mae Hancock

December 18, 1920 — June 27, 2006

Fannie M. Hancock, 85, of Vidor died Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Hemphill, TX, she lived in Vidor for 12 years. Fannie was a retired Installment Loans Collector with First City Bank in Beaumont for 15 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Vidor and was a past member of South Park Church of Christ in Beaumont. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Memory Gardens in Nederland. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. Fannie was survived by her daughter: Alice Wyatt Pairett of Vidor, TX, brother: James E. Boyd of Houston, TX, sister: Tera Edgerton of Groves, TX, 1 granddaughter and 3 great-grandchildren. A special thanks to Dr. Keith Stout, Dr. Kandaswamy Jayaraj, and Dr. Michael Rotenberg for their excellent care given mother during her illness and the nursing staff at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home. Sincere appreciation is extended to the Reverend’s Phil Burnaman, Kevin Trinkle and Bryan Lakey for their visits, words of comfort and prayers offered for mother during her illness.
