Federick William Barlow Sr.

Fred W. Barlow, Sr., 64, of Vidor died Monday, August 4, 2014 at his residence. A native of Beaumont, Fred was a longtime resident of Vidor, a machinist for 16 years with American Valve and Hydrant, and was owner of Barlow furniture repair for 25 years. Fred was a member of First United Methodist Church of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home. Fred is survived by his wife Susan Barlow, son Fred Barlow, Jr., all of Vidor, brother Joe Barlow, Jr of Tyler, sisters Martha Jo Simoneaux of Groves, Elma Rose Jones of Beaumont, and two grandchildren.
