Fern Ishmael

Fern Ishmael, 87, of Vidor died Monday, April 9, 2007 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Marshall, TX., she has lived in Vidor for 50+ years and was a bookkeeper and housewife. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2007at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, TX. Visitation will begin at 5:00 till 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Johnson, husband of 48 years Henry Ishmael, son Charles Dewey. She is survived by her step-daughters Billie Lowe of Lumberton, and Barbara Lowe of Burkeville, TX., sister Mary Jane Graff of Marshall, six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to say a special thank you to Carolyn Bandeaux, Fern’s caregiver, for all the special care, and attention given to our step-mom.
