Fletcher Hope Norwood

Fletcher H. Norwood, 87, of Vidor died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of San Augustine, he has lived in Vidor since 1982, and was a retired self-employed flooring contractor. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII, where he was a POW. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with cremation to follow. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. Fletcher is survived by his sons Tex Norwood of Buna, and Michael Norwood of Vidor, sisters Lois Smith of Channelview, TX., and Otheal Means of Houston, three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
