Frances Dorsina Girdler

Frances D. Girdler, 82 of Vidor died Saturday, March 7th, 2020 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home. A native of High Island, TX, she was lifelong resident of Vidor and Beaumont. Frances was a homemaker and an avid reader. She enjoyed to cook and go to the casinos. She loved the movie The Notebook which she watched numerous times. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 9, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Frances was preceded in death by her husband Otto Girdler and son Robert Wayne Girdler. She is survived by her daughters Karen Berg of Vidor, TX, Robin Hale of Beaumont, TX, and Rhonda Jones of Vidor, TX, sister Carolyn Griffin of Kerrville, TX, 14 grandchildren,18 great grandchild and 3 great great grandchildren.
