Frances L. Ray Hill Elliott

Frances L. Ray Hill Elliott, 88, died Sunday, August 9th, 2020 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. A native of Woden, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor, TX and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She taught Science for 33 years at Vidor Junior High School. When she was younger she enjoyed participating in athletic events and also loved arts and crafts, pottery, gardening, roller skating, going to the beach, fishing, crabbing, and traveling in her free time. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 15th, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with interment to follow at 4:00 PM at Hemphill Cemetery in Hemphill, TX. She is survived by her children John Hill and his wife Beth of San Antonio, Andrea Nelson and husband Tom Word of Austin, TX, Patti Gilbert and her husband Jack of Beaumont, TX, Steve Hill of KIrbyville, TX, Le Savarese and husband Mark MacCloskey of Arlington, TX, step daughter Kara Elliott, 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband John Hill, 2nd husband Clyde Elliott, sister Mary Corley, step daughter Rhonda Grey, and step son Duncan Elliott.
