Frank Rogers, 88, of Vidor died Sunday, June 10, 2007 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Haywood County, NC., he has lived in Vidor for 62 years, and was a tool maker for 35 years, before he retired from Ideco. He was a faithful member of First Pentecostal Church of Vidor, and was a trustee of the church. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at First Pentecostal Church of Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 35 years Christeal Rogers. He is survived by his wife of 27 years Tommie Rogers of Silsbee, sons Frankie E. Rogers and his wife Judith of Evadale, Bobby L. Rogers and his wife Angie of Silsbee, daughters Sue Barnhart and her husband Lynn of Vidor, Billie Lee Wright and her husband Johnny of Longview, and Ruth Chandler and her husband James of Canton, NC., sisters Mabel Rogers, Wanda Woody, Betty Green, and Mary Rogers all of Canton, NC., eighteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
