Fred H. Ledoux

Fred H. LeDoux, 93, of Vidor, TX died Saturday, March 2nd, 2019 in Baytown, TX. A native of Sweetlake, LA he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Fred served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII and retired as a truck driver for Mobil Oil after 33 years. He was an avid gardener, carpenter, and mechanic. Fred was a loving father and paw-paw. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary service at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to be held at 1:00 pm in Highland Memory Gardens in Lake Charles, LA. Fred is survived by his loving wife Nora Lea of 72 plus years, 1 daughter; Kathlynn Self and her husband Larry of Baytown, 4 sons; Larry LeDoux and his wife Brenda of Lumberton, TX, Jerry LeDoux and his wife Debra of Birmingham, AL, Robert LeDoux and his wife Elisa of Sugar Land, TX, and Randall LeDoux and his wife Loretta of Lafayette, LA. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 sister; Violet Cassidy of Owensboro, KY along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; Goldman and Vevia LeDoux, 1 sister; Anna Lou Fontenot, and 2 brothers; James ans Marvin LeDoux.
