Frederick 'Fred' William Shockome

Fred W. Shockome, 68, of Vidor died Monday, March 19, 2012 in Dayton, Texas. A native of Wabash, IN, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Fred was a truck driver. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with cremation to follow. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Fred is survived by his wife Inez Shochome, son Freddy Shockome, daughters Jodie McCoy and her husband Shorty, Donna Lear and her husband Jamie all of Vidor, TX, Merret Kithens and her husband Steve of Picayune, MS, brothers Thomas Shockome of Karnes City, TX, Ron Shockome of Huntington, IN, 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
