Gene Hayward Leatherwood, Sr

Gene Leatherwood, 61, of Lumberton died Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at his residence in Lumberton. A native of Beaumont, TX, he was a lifelong resident of the Golden Triangle. Gene was a retired Boilermaker. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2005 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and a Rosary at 7:00 p.m Saturday, September 10, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home. Gene is survived by his son: JR Leatherwood of Denver, CO, daughters: Kassie Leatherwood of Conroe, TX, Kim De La Garza of Highlands, TX, Karat Gwinn of Crosby, TX, Annie Adams of Highlands, TX, brothers: BB Leatherwood of Vidor, TX, Bowie Leatherwood of Lumberton, TX, and 9 grandchildren.
