George Albert Koenig

George A. Koenig, 92, of Vidor died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. A native of Orange, NJ, he was a longtime resident of Florida before moving to Vidor 5 years ago. George was a member of The Dwelling Place in Vidor (formerly Vidor Glory Church of God) and was a lifelong member of the VFW. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at The Dwelling Place in Vidor. George was preceded in death by his Wife Frances. He is survived by his caregivers and spiritual adopted nephew and niece Steve and Rhonda Payne of Vidor, TX.
