George Gene Mcanally

George Gene McAnally, 83, died Friday, March 4th, 2016 in Beaumont. A native of Liberty Hill, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. George was a member of Equipment Operators Local 450 and VFW #8246 of Vidor and loved to hunt and fish and was a family man. Visitation will be Monday, March 7, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A graveside service will be Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park. George is survived by his son, Rick McAnally and Eileen Russell of Vidor, 2 grand daughters, DeAnna Parks and husband Jacob of China, TX and Traci Montalbano and husband Dustin of Beaumont, 5 great grandchildren, Dylan, Tray, Destiny, Dena, and Jacob. George was preceded in death by his wife, Louise McAnally of 55 years and a daughter, Susan McAnally.
