George Monroe Rodgers

George Monroe Rodgers, 80, of Vidor died Wednesday, January 5th, 2022 at his residence in Vidor. He was a longtime resident of Vidor and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. He retired from the Exxon/Mobil Refinery after working there for many years. He dearly loved his grandchildren and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grand father, and brother. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A Rosary will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 8th, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor with cremation to follow. George is survived by his wife of 55 years Yvonne Rodgers of Vidor, TX, his sons Rusty Rodgers of Vidor, TX, George Rodgers and wife Kat of Vidor, TX, and Rob Rodgers of Vidor, TX, his brother Harold Rodgers of Fannett, TX, and grandchildren Christine Rodgers of Vidor, TX, Austin Rodgers of Vidor, TX, Dax Rodgers of Mauriceville, TX and Lanie Rodgers of Mauriceville, TX.
