George Oliver Olsen, Sr.

George O. Olsen, Sr., 89, of Vidor died Monday, February 17, 2014 at his residence in Vidor. A native of Beaumont, TX, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. George was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Vidor and was a member of I.B.E.W. Local Union 390. He served his country in the US Navy during WWII. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Trinity Baptist Church, with cremation to follow the service. A gathering for family and friends will be held from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. George is survived by his son Don Olsen and wife Charlene of Beaumont, TX, daughter Lynn Glezen and husband Bobby of Atlanta, GA, 2 grandchildren Ashli Glezen and Neil Glezen and his wife Adrianne, 2 great grandchildren Jacob and Landon Glezen.
