Geraldine Bailey

Geraldine Bailey, 85, of Vidor died Saturday, March 13, 2021 at her home. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and member of Pecan Acres Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who loved crossword puzzles, scrabble, dominoes, dancing, and spending time with her family. She was very proud of her family and had a total of 99 family members. She was recognized as Mother of the Year in 2017 by the Chambers of Commerce. Visitation for Geraldine will begin Monday, March 15, 2021 at 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor. Her funeral service will be Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Pecan Acres Baptist Church with burial to follow at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor. She is survived by her daughters Debbie Hollier of Vidor, TX, Linda Blanchard of Vidor, TX, and Susie and husband Charles Maines of Vidor, TX, sons Phillip and wife Carolyn Bailey of Vidor, TX, Paul and wife Charlotte Bailey of Vidor, TX, Mitchell and wife Christy Bailey of Vidor, TX, brother Charles and wife Betty Choate of Texas City, TX, 21 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Kirby Lee Bailey.
