Geraldine Franks

Geraldine Franks, 85, of Vidor, passed away on Saturday, April 22nd, 2023 at Reliable Oaks Assisted living in Needville, TX. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and was born and raised there.

Geraldine was a devoted Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church of Vidor. She was a home maker and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. On March 28, 2023, she celebrated her 64th wedding anniversary with her husband Virgil Franks.

Geraldine is survived by her loving husband Virgil Franks of Vidor, TX, her daughters Cindy Moreau and husband Luke of Needville, TX, Donna Franks of Needville, TX, her granddaughter Ashley and husband Clayton Shaw of Sunset, TX, and several cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Vidor Senior Citizens and Adult Living building fund.

Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Vidor on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, with the viewing beginning at 1:00 PM and the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Geraldine will be dearly missed by her family and friends, and her memory will live on in their hearts forever. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Senior Citizen and adult living fund First Baptist Church of Vidor.
