Glenn Wood White

Glenn W. White, 77, of Vidor died Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Senior Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Port Arthur. A native of Pitkin, LA., Glenn was a longtime resident of Vidor, and a retired welder with Bethlehem Steel. Glenn was a member of Campground Baptist Church in Woodville, and served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Campground Baptist Church in Woodville under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Campground Cemetery in Woodville. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents Mark and Hazel White, brothers O'Neal White, Harvey White, and Bruce White, and his sister LaTane Bates. Glenn is survived by his wife Ouida White, son Gayland White and his wife Jodie all of Vidor, daughters Glenda Schlimper and husband Philip of Katy, TX., Greta Welch and husband Dennis of Vidor, Gina Wolfe and husband Stephen of Kingwood, TX., brothers Clovis White of Waco, and Sherman White of Vidor, sisters Laverne Knight, Ann Casey, and Lanell Kreyssig all of Vidor, and Geneva Irving of Quinlin, TX., six grandchildren: Richard White, Kimberly Ainsworth and husband Dustin, Haley Simpson and husband Nathaniel, Shane Welch, Ashley Wolfe, and Abigail Wolfe.
