Gloria Dean Lindsey

Gloria Dean Lindsey, 68, of Vidor died Saturday, January 22nd, 2022 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. She was a longtime resident of the Golden Triangle and a member of First Baptist Church in Vidor. She was self employed as a Children's Party Planner and would perform as Gumdrop the Clown. She loved to volunteer for her church, as well as paint and make stained glass art. She participated in a pool league and was a member of the Glory band for First Baptist Church and the Dulcimer Club of Southeast Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation Tuesday, January 25th, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 9:00PM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 26th, 2022 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Vidor. Burial will take place Thursday, January 28th, 2022 at Hopewell Cemetery at 3:00 PM in Paris, Texas. Gloria is survived by her husband of 44 years Gene Lindsey of Vidor, TX, her children, Rodney Dale Lindsey of Vidor, TX, Amanda Jean Hankins of Beaumont, TX, Gene Lindsey III of Orange, TX, Elizabeth Lindsey of Beaumont, TX, and her sister Mary Holmes of Greenville, TX, along with 12 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Jewel Crawford and her grand daughter Jewelene Crawford.
