H.G Shannon

H.G. “Buck” Shannon, 84, of Vidor died Friday, July 30 , 2004 at Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Bessamay, TX., he was a retired painter with local union # 243-130 in Beaumont. Buck served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. Graveside services will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2004. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 2, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Buck is survived by his wife of 65 years Vivian Shannon of Vidor, TX., son: Kenneth R. Shannon, Sr. of Beaumont, TX., daughter: Betty Perry of Vidor, TX., 5 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
