Hester Greer

Hester Greer, 82, of Vidor died Thursday January 1, 2004 at Park Place Medical Center in Port Arthur. A native of Neely, MS., she lived in Vidor since 1989. Hester was a homemaker and a member of Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday January 4, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Saturday January 3, 2004 at the funeral home. Hester is survived by her sons: George Greer Sr., of Lodi, CA., Prentice Greer of Marble Falls, TX., daughter: Mary Farley of Vidor, TX., sister: Juanita Lawhon of Vidor, TX., 10 Grandchildren: Kenneth Burns, Kerry Burns, Grace Greer, George Greer Jr., Gordon Greer, Michael Greer, Cynthia Crawford, Elizabeth Nicole Farley, Rajeena McCugh, Terry Vilow, and 9 great-grandchildren.
