Hilda Cormier

Hilda Cormier, 75, a longtime resident of Vidor died Friday, June 12th, 2015 at her home. She belonged to many organizations including Our Lady of Lourdes Senior Club and Money Counters, Sears Retiree Alumni, Fibromyalgia Support Group, the Cajun Choir and Cajun Club, Spirit of Hope Fellowship and the Legion of Mary Support Group. Hilda is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Curtiss Cormier, 2 daughters, Susan Bruno and husband Jerome of Beaumont, Margaret Cormier of Rayne, LA. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Victoria Buffington of Port Barre, LA, David and Michelle Bruno of Beaumont, Virginia and Vanessa Cormier of Rayne, LA, and 4 great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Jada, Basil, and Annabelle. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
