Horace Fredieu

Horace Fredieu, 86 of Vidor died Saturday, October 16th, 2021 at his residence. A native of Colfax, LA, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Horace Fredieu was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Beaumont and was a retired Meat Cutter of UFCW National Union. Horace lived for his grandchildren and great grandchildren's sporting events. He took pride in mowing his grass and his families grass as it was very important to him. Horace was a video gamer most of his life, right up until two months ago he was playing his Xbox. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home. Horace was preceded in death by his wife Stella Fredieu, daughters Peggy and Wendy Fredieu, son William Fredieu, grandson Stephen Williams Jr., granddaughter Kadie Odom and great grandson Tuff Fuselier. He is survived by his daughters Deborah Roberts, Diane Odom of Vidor, TX, son David "Bubba" Fredieu of Vidor, TX, brother Jack Fredieu of Frisco, TX, grandchildren Ronnie Blankenship, Alex Wise, Michael Fredieu, Cory Baker, Honey Baker, Jimmy Baker, Brandon Bodden, Joby Fredieu, Regina Rives, Olivia Fuselier and Kayla Odom, 29 great grandchildren and 20 Great Great Grandchildren.
