Hubert Joseph Godeaux, Sr.

Hubert J. Godeaux, Sr, 69, of Vidor died Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at his residence in Vidor. A native of Church Point, LA., he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Hubert was a retired Plant Director with Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He loved the outdoors and fishing. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 18, 2004 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and a Christian Vigil at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home. Hubert is survived by his wife of 49 years Shirley Godeaux of Vidor, TX., sons: Hubert J. Godeaux, Jr and his wife Sherry Lynne Smith of Vidor, TX., Amos Godeaux of Vidor, TX., Harry Godeaux and his wife Terri of Vidor, TX., Sammey Godeaux and his wife Sandra Hargrove of Orange, TX., brothers: Vincent Godeaux and his wife Carolyn of Vidor, TX., Patrick Godeaux and his wife Gloria of Vidor, TX., sisters: Mary Ann Minton and her husband Beamon of Vidor, TX., Nora Youngblood and her husband Lewis of Vidor, TX., Jane McDonald and her husband Harold of Pt. Neches, TX., sister-in-law: Wanda Godeaux of Vidor, TX., grandchildren: Regina Godeaux, Jeremy Godeaux, Samantha Barrett, Stormy Godeaux, Joshua Godeaux, Joseph Godeaux, Cory Godeaux, Maddie Godeaux, great-grandchildren: Kenzee Kirkland, Chloe Griffith, Dylan Barrett, Tyler Barrett.
