Hugh "Joe" Joseph Johnson

Hugh "Joe" Joseph Johnson Jr., 60, of Vidor died Thursday, February 18th, 2021 at Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston, TX. He has lived in Vidor since 2016 but lived in Lake Charles, LA beforehand. He was a member at Source of Old Faith Baptist church in Vidor. He worked as a carpenter and as Maintenance for VISD. He loved fishing, doing carpentry work, and spending time with his grandbabies. Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with a memorial service set for a later date. He is survived by his wife Loretta Johnson, daughters Rebecca and husband Dexter LeBlanc of Vidor, TX, Rachel and wife Ginger Brown of Vidor, TX, and Jessica and husband Bryan Guillot of Iowa, LA, son Jacob and his wife Nancy Johnson of Lake Charles, LA, brother Charles "Skipper" Johnson of Flint, TX, sisters Kathie Morgan of Iowa, LA, and Teresa Wills in Lacassine, LA, and 7 grandchildren Dixie & Jensen LeBlanc; Kaitlyn, Davis and Decker Johnson; Maleigha and Aaron Guillot. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Thelma Johnson and brothers, Dale and Benjie Johnson.
