Ina Ophelia Wright Mahana

Ophelia Wright Mahana, 81, of Vidor died Saturday, September 18, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Fal, Louisiana she was a resident of Vidor, as a homemaker. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 23, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Williamson Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Ophelia is survived by her sons, Lee, Ned, Melvin, Alvin, M.D., and Clint Mahana, and daughter, Carol Mahana Dorn. Thirty-six grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. Ophelia was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Alvin Mahana, parents, James Barney Wright, and Epsie Burr Williamson Wright, sons, Danny, Chris, and Glen Mahana, and daughter, Karen Mahana, and by her 10 brothers and sisters.
