Iona Othelia Moorman

Iona O. Moorman, 88, of Vidor died Saturday, July 17, 2004 in Sulphur, LA. A native of Karnak, Ill., she resided in Vidor since 1958. Iona was a retired Ward Clerk with Hermann Memorial Baptist Hospital in Beaumont and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at First United Methodist Church in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home in Vidor. Iona is survived by her sons, Don Moorman and his wife Ann, and James Moorman and his wife Doretta all of Vidor, daughter, Darlene Fomby and her husband Roy of Vidor, sisters, Flossie Lindsey, and Fern Maess both of Metropolis, IL., 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
