Ira Charles Graham Sr

Charles Graham, 80, of Vidor died Friday, December 5, 2014 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Charles was a member of Victory Temple Church in Beaumont and was one of the founders of Beaumont Welding and Industrial Supply, later becoming Amerigas Inc. where he retired. He was a member of the South Park Masonic Lodge, a Scottish Rite and a Shriner. Charles served his country in the US Army during the Korean War as a paratrooper. He was a member of South West Football Official Association for over 50 years where he officiated high school football. Charles was a family man, loved to garden and was an avid fisherman in his younger age. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Monday, December 8, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home. Charles is survived by his wife of 58 years Anna Graham, sons Ira Charles Graham Jr and wife Mishelle, Martin Graham and wife Carolyn all of Vidor, TX, brother Clinton Benjamin Graham of Nederland, TX, sister Frances Gretchen Vincent of Sulphur, LA, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. He was preceded in death by his daughter Marcella Diann Cazanas. Donations can be made to Shriners Hospital for Children - Houston 6977 Main St., Houston, Texas 77030-3701.
