Isaac E. "Ike" Hillebrandt, Sr., 97, a previous resident of Beaumont and longtime resident of Vidor died on Monday, March 16th, 2015 in Beaumont. The Hillebrandt Bayou was named after his family which was one of the earliest settlers of Jefferson County. Ike liked gardening and raising cattle but especially loved spending quality time with his family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a charter member of Turning Point Church in Vidor. Ike is survived by his 3 daughters, Lou Kirkland and husband Steve, Sandra Jones Paskell and husband Fred and Ruby Richardson, all of Vidor. He is also survived by his son, Isaac "Ikey" Hillebrandt, Jr., 15 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Annie May Salles and Margaret Barnes, both of Beaumont, and Olivia Holt of Buna. Ike was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Ruby Luella Hillebrandt, son, Willard Duke, granddaughter, Lisa Duke Peoples, and great grandson, Ty Wayne Hillebrandt. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Turning Point Church in Vidor. Services will be on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. also at Turning Point Church with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
