Ivah Mae Virginia Bethancourt

Ivah Bethancourt, 85, of Vidor died Sunday, February 5, 2006 at her residence. A native of Corrigan, TX., she has lived in Vidor for 10 years, and was a restaurant owner operator for 35 years, and a past member of the Eastern Star Lodge in Beaumont. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. She is survived by her husband of 64 years James N. Bethancourt, Sr of Vidor, son, James N. Bethancourt, Jr of Vidor, daughters, Elizabeth A. Croft and her husband Van of Vidor, Beverly N. Nance and her husband Marvin of Orange, sister Shirley Ohm of Beaumont, three grandchildren: James Nance, Danica Nance, and Capri McCrate, and three great grandchildren: Trevor Nance, Easton McCrate, and Gracen McCrate.
