J.D. Miles, 72, of Rose City died Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at his residence in Rose City. A native of Graceville, FL, he resided in Vidor for 23 years. J.D. was a retired Major from the U.S. Air Force. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 4, 2005 at New Covenant Full Gospel Church in Rose City, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home. J.D. is survived by his sons: Mike Miles and his wife Shirley of Buna, TX, Jeff Miles and his wife Nancy of Newton, TX, Mike Reed and his wife Nova of W. Monroe, LA, Guy Reed and his wife Rebecca of Lewisville, TX, daughters: Palua Lohwasser of Charolette, NC, Barbara Hornbuckle of Rose City, TX, Judy Reed of Beaumont, TX, brother: Hurley Miles and his wife Dorris of Green Cove Springs, FL, grandchildren: Heidi and Glenn Bouley, Paal Kykken, Josh Miles, Meghan Miles, Chad Hornbuckle, Amber Hornbuckle, Collin Bailey, great-grandchildren: Justin Dean Miles, and Jacelyne Nikole Sherman.
